South Africa meets the target! increasing contribution to the Global Fund by 36.5%

Hon Minister of Health Joe Phaahla has done South Africa proud by pledging beyond the 30% increase from the country’s last contribution of 10 mil USD to the Global Fund. South Africa has heeded the call by pledging a total of USD13,650,000 Million Dollars – USD13 million from the South African government , and USD650,000 from the Private Sector Forum of South African National AIDS Council. This commitment is 36,5% more than our previous pledge!!!!!!
